Trikke Carving Scooters

Looking to get the feeling of skiing without the snow? Our carving scooters are a great way to workout and have fun at the same time. Carving scooters work by linking slalom-like turns to propel riders endlessly. Riding a carving scooter is a zero impact workout for the entire body. Your legs push out with each turn, your arms move with the momentum and your core keeps everything in sync.

Carving Vehicle

Carving is a kind of turn with its origins in snow skiing. It refers to a turning technique in which the ski shifts to one side or the other on its edges. When edged, the sidecut geometry causes the ski to bend into an arc, and the ski naturally follows this arc shape to produce a turning motion.

The Carving vehicles designed by Trikke use a patented cambering mechanism which allows the rider to propel this chain-less and pedal-lesshuman-powered vehicle without ever touching foot to ground.

The design provides a stable 3-point platform that lets riders lean into the turns while all three wheels remain in contact with the ground. This results in great cornering ability, maneuverability, reaction time, higher speed cornering and quicker change direction (swerve). All this translates into improving safety. The maneuverability is at least 50% superior than a bicycle.

Trikke was founded in 2000 by inventor/designer/visionary Gildo Beleski to develop, build and market vehicles based on 3 points of contact with a cambering (leaning) frame for stability, active (stand-up) riding position, intuitive use and safe handling.

The resulting vehicles are powered by the human body, by electric power and by gravity – to ride on pavement, dirt, snow, sand, or water. The goal was to build an iconic brand that resonates with passion for an action sports ride that delivers fluid movement, speed, performance and a joyful feeling of freedom.
