Prado Description

The Prado is a unique electric bike, equally suited to street riding and off-road adventures. Its been designed with a low-step frame for easy boarding, and fat tires with blade rims for excellent traction and stability. Look closer, and you can see that the Prado features ape handlebars, a thick cushion saddle, and hydraulic front shocks, giving you an upright and extremely comfortable ride.

Robust 750W Geared Rear Hub Motor

The Velowave Prado is equipped with a powerful 750W (nominal output) Bafang rear hub motor, which will make climbing the steepest hills possible. You can ride the Prado like a conventional bike, using the 7-speed Shimano drivetrain, but when you need a boost from the motor, you will not be disappointed. You can get the power you need by using the 5-level pedal assist system (PAS) with cadence sensor, or ride without the need for pedaling by engaging the left-side thumb throttle. The motor has the capacity to get you up to 28+ mph by pedal assist and 20 mph by throttle. 

Removable 48V/15Ah LG Battery

The Prado electric bike comes with a removable 48V/15Ah lithium-ion battery with LG cells. It is capable of covering a range of 25-40+ miles per full charge. Removable and waterproof, this battery is safe and convenient to bring home or to your office to recharge. It supports fast charging, charges to about 80% in 4 hours, and fully charge in 8 hours.

Hydraulic Suspension Fork

The Prado is all about comfort, and having a hydraulic suspension fork (aka a front shock) really helps smooth out the bumps in the road. When engaged, the front shock will reduce the vibration of the frame, reducing stress on the arms and shoulders. It allows the Prado to provide a more stable, comfortable, and safe ride, especially on rough surfaces. 

20" x 4" Kenda Fat Tires w/ Blade Rims

The Prado features Kenda brand 20" x 4.0" fat tires mounted on rigid blade rims. The benefit of fat tires are many: they absorb bumps in the road, and provide a wider footprint (more surface contact area) increasing the traction and stability of the tread. Shimano 7-Speed Drivetrain

The Velowave Prado is outfitted with a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and twist shifter, allowing you to shift smoothly through the gears as you ride. You can use the gears with the motor turned off, and get a nice workout. However, one of the benefits of ebikes is that you can also use the mechanical drivetrain along with the pedal assist system and throttle, maintain comfortable pedaling regardless of terrain.

High-Luminance Headlight

The headlight on the Prado is super bright and provides a safer and more enjoyable environment for night-riding. 

Massive Cargo Capacity

Comfortable Wide Saddle

The Prado S is designed with a 6061 Aluminum alloy frame with an integrated rear rack. It comes with a matte-colored body which is available in 3 classic colors. With DIY space on the side of the racks allows you to add stickers or graffiti. You’ll love it！

Multifunctional Color Display & Thumb Throttle

Display readouts include power assist levels, battery indicator, riding speed and mileage. These data help to better control your riding status and to achieve better exercise results. The thumb throttle provides that extra boost of speed whenever its needed.

Hydraulic Disc Brakes System

These hydraulic brakes offer very a smooth and effective braking system under any conditions. Suitable for persons with less strength or beginners, they are able to easily stop this e-bike with a light touch of the brake lever.

Great Handle Bar
