Nakto Discovery Description

The Discovery Fat Tire Mountain Bike may be small in stature, but it's big on performance. The 350W rear hub motor reaches a maximum 80Nm of torque output, and it's a blast to ride. We tested both the 5-Level Pedal Assist System (PAS) and the Right-Side Thumb Throttle, and they were both quite responsive throughout their range of operation. The throttle was nice and springy and was easy to activate while holding the ergonomic grips with AI accents.

The Discovery is perfect for smaller riders (5'-3" and up) who still want to tackle some steep off-road trails. The aluminum alloy mountain bike frame is lightweight and stiff, with comparatively short rear chainstays, making the bike highly responsive and easy to handle. The front shocks offer a decent 60mm of travel, smoothing out the bumps in the road. The 20" x 4" fat tires are perfect for off-road riding since they give you more traction and stability on uneven surfaces and gravel. They can be inflated from 5psi to 30psi, depending on riding conditions.

The 48V lithium-ion battery is integrated into the downtube for improved aerodynamics and has built-in overcharge protection. At 8Ah, the battery capacity is on the low side, but it will still deliver about 20 miles of range per charge. This will vary depending on how much you use the motor, the weight of the rider, and the terrain.

The Nakto Discovery is equipped with a high-definition LCD display, which has readouts including voltage level, pedal assist system (PAS) level, speed, etc.).
