As soon as you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. The email include the details of the order, and is your record that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.
Before we contact the warehouse to confirm that the selected items are in stock and available for immediate shipment, all orders are subject to fraud protection analysis. This protects both ourselves and the customer, but ensuring that credit cards are not being used fraudulently, and no ID theft has occurred. This process can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. After that, the supplier is contacted to fulfill the order.
Some suppliers, such as Prodecotech and Biktrix, build to order, so upon notification that an order has been received, they will assemble the bike and then ship it, usually 7-10 days (but sometimes longer). If a product cannot ship within 48 hours of the order being placed, we will contact the customer to let them know what fulfillment timeframe to expect. Likewise, some suppliers require that their products be professionally assembled, such as Day 6 and Buddy Bike, and will we need to confirm with the customer that the bike will be sent to a local shop for assembly, or that a bike tech is on hand to perform the assembly.
If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you by email or phone, and see if you want to cancel the order and change it for a different item or items. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment, we will process the charge and submit the order for shipment.
If your order is in stock and we process the charge to your credit card, it will ship within typically within 24-48 hours from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided at checkout.

All products are shipped via UPS, FedEx (or similar shipping companies), and may require signature for delivery. IF YOUR PACKAGE APPEARS DAMAGED FROM SHIPPING, DO NOT ACCEPT IT. TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE DAMAGED BOX, TELL THE DRIVER THAT YOU CANNOT ACCEPT DAMAGED GOODS, AND NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY. If you accept a package that appears damaged from shipping, it will be much more difficult to process a return.
We work diligently with our customers to avoid warranty claims, and will seek to resolve issues amicably. Bicycles and scooters require initial assembly, adjustments and fittings, and regular maintenance thereafter, and none of these requirements are covered by manufacturer warranty.
All warranty communication is ultimately between the customer and the manufacturer for genuine issues of workmanship or defect within the warranty period, and the supplier will repair or exchange products AT THEIR DISCRETION.
REALLY GOOD EBIKES AND ITS SUPPLIERS DO NOT ACCEPT PRODUCT RETURNS DUE TO BUYER REMORSE. THEREFORE, BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT(S) YOU CHOOSE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS. If the customer has not opened or used the item, and it can still be sold as new, the item may to be returned to the supplier (upon their prior approval) and Really Goods LLC will refund the once the supplier determines the salability of the item.
Cancellations & Refunds
All sales are final. At the discretion of Seller, orders cancelled after 24 hours may be subject to a 38% administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the Buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE ISSUED TO THE ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD, USED WHEN PLACING THE ORDER. IF AN ALTERNATIVE REFUND METHOD IS REQUESTED, THE REFUND AMOUNT WILL BE DEDUCTED BY ALL ASSOCIATED FEES THAT MAY THEREBY BE INCURRED BY SELLER.

The electric bikes we sell come mostly assembled, and many customers are fine completing the assembly process, which typically involves attaching the front wheel, attaching and adjusting the handlebar, attaching pedals, adjusting the brakes, and checking to make sure all the connections are secure and fit to the riders height and desired riding position.
But for those who what this done for them, we now offer free professional bike assembly with every ebike sold. How does this work? Well, you can contact us and we'll find a local shop to do the assembly for you, or you can simply include your local bike shop as the shipping address when you check out. Make sure to include an "order note" when checking out, so that we can do all the coordination for you.
Some restrictions apply. You will need to live close enough to a local shop where your bike can be assembled for you. The local shop will need to offer assembly services - but this is a very common service, and we have never called a shop that wouldn't do this for around $50. If it costs more than that, you will need to pay the difference. Once the work is completed, just email us a copy of the store receipt, and we'll reimburse you up to $50!
