The eProdigy Fairweather is a lightweight foldable electric bike that has been purpose-built for balance, simplicity and efficiency. Many of the other, less expensive, folding e-bikes use hub motors but this one offers a custom mid-drive that balances weight and improves climbing power.

The Fairweather can be operated with both pedal assist and throttle so you can opt for a bit of exercise or completely rest and focus on balancing; most other mid-drives offer pedal assist only. Other highlights include hydraulic disc brakes with levers that cut motor power when pulled, sturdy folding mechanisms on the handlebars and frame and of course… the carbon frame itself.

Not only is this bike much lighter than the majority of folders I’ve reviewed but it rides smoother thanks to the vibration dampening qualities of carbon fiber. In my opinion, it’s an all-around winner because it’s quiet and durable but of course, that’s reflected in the relatively high price. And this bike doesn’t come with fenders or a rear rack which makes it less fragile but also less enjoyable in wet conditions or for people who need to haul a lot.

Whether you’re a shorter rider in need of a lightweight bike that is easy to stand over or a taller rider who needs an ultra-compact bike to bring along on adventures, the Fairweather should work because it has a long sturdy seat post and telescoping adjustable-height stem. My girlfriend and I both fit comfortably with room to spare (smaller or larger).

Warranty 
Purchases must be registered in order to receive warranty, to register your product, send an email with your sales invoice, contact information, and bike/motor/battery serial numbers to support@eprodigy.com. eProdigy provides warranty on its battery and Coaxial Bottom Bracket Motor™ for 2 years (please note that we only warranty the battery and motor on the Cypress model for 1 year), and bike frames for 5 years. The warranty is valid for the intended use of the bikes. Warranty does not cover normal wear & tear or any loss or damage caused by negligence or improper assembly, repair, modification or use and so on. For example: brake parts, tubes, tires, chain, cables, bulbs, kick-stands, seat, and hand grips, etc. are not covered. Warranty will not cover a bike that is not registered or does not match the original registration serial number on the bike frame, motor, and battery. 

Return Policy 
At eProdigy, they want you to love your bike, so if you’re not satisfied with your purchase within 7 days from the date of receiving, please let them know. They will offer a refund or credit with an original sales receipt. Returned bikes must still be in new or unused condition. eProdigy Bike reserves the right to make a full or partial refund based on the condition of the bicycle. We will issue the refund in the same manner the bike was purchased.  Customer must pay return shipping or schedule a time to drop off the bike at our office. 18% restocking fee is applied to all returns. The cost of the item minus the restocking fee is refunded once the product has been returned and is determined to be in new and unused condition. If the product has been used, ridden, or damaged while in the possession of the customer, the product cannot be exchanged or returned for future credit, unless authorized by eProdigy at a lower value than the purchase price. Order Confirmation

As soon as you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. The email include the details of the order, and is your record that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we contact our suppliers to confirm that the selected items are in stock and available for immediate shipment.

Some suppliers, such as Prodecotech and Biktrix, build to order, so upon notification that an order has been received, they will assemble the bike and then ship it, usually 7-10 days. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you by email or phone, and see if you want to cancel the order and change it for a different item or items. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within five (5) business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five (5) business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided at checkout.

All products are shipped via UPS or FedEx, and require signature for delivery. If the package arrives damaged, do not accept it. Ask the driver retain possession of the package and contact us immediately.

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive. DO NOT ACCEPT SIGN FOR AND ACCEPT SHIPMENT ON CLEARLY DAMAGED ITEMS. If you notice any damage to the box in which the item(s) are shipped, you should let the delivery person know and take photographs of the damaged areas, you should make note of it when opening the package to conduct inspection. If you item(s) do arrived damaged, DO NOT ACCEPT DELIVERY. Call Really Good Ebikes immediately, and please send photos toinfo@reallygoodebikes.com.

ALL warranty communication is between the customer and the manufacturer for genuine issues of workmanship or defect within the warranty period, and the supplier will repair or exchange AT THEIR DISCRETION. If the customer has not opened/used the item, and it can still be sold as new, the item is to be returned to the supplier and Really Goods LLC will refund them once the supplier determines the salability of the item.

Cancellations & Refunds

All sales are final. At the discretion of Seller, orders cancelled after 24 hours may be subject to a 38% administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the Buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you used when placing your order.

Flat Tires: Service providers do not deliver new equipment; however, we can dispatch a service provider with commonly available tools upon request.

Lockout: Because we cannot verify ownership of a bicycle, we will not dispatch a service provider to remove a bike lock. If you independently arrange service to free your locked bike, you may submit a claim for reimbursement for up to $50.

Calling for Help. If you are in a serious bike crash and need medical assistance, please call 911 and get any emergency assistance you might require.

You will be asked for your member number or last name to schedule service. 

You must be with your bicycle when the roadside assistance service provider arrives. 

A tow truck will be dispatched and should arrive to you within an hour (usually less).

 If you call the dispatcher and they cannot dispatch service through their network, the representative will give you an authorization number. You may then call any service provider and pay them directly for services rendered.
