If there is a word that properly describes Rayvolt’s wide lineup of e-bikes, it would be swagger. Its design concept seems to invoke the legendary era of early-1900s Indian motorcycles, the 1969 Café Racer and 1970 Beach Cruiser.
In contrast to the many highly utilitarian-looking e-bikes on the scene, Rayvolt’s e-bikes are a virtual feast for the eyes. Not only are these e-bikes pleasing to look at, they are designed around what Rayvolt calls EVIA: an “intelligent virtual assistant” that connects wirelessly to the bike control system and facilitates access to the motor and battery settings, the regenerative braking system, embedded GPS, mapping features, and diagnosticssupportfor motor and battery.
The original Rayvolt Premium E Bike, the Cruzer, is influenced by the early 1900's motorcycle, combined with the counter rock culture of 1960's Cafe Racer, and a twist of California Beach Cruzer. Add EIVA Smart Technology and you have a bike that truly stands apart from any other.
The Rayvolt Cruzer is unlike any other bike in its category. This bike comes fully equipped with a Power Hub motor that gives you better torque, acceleration, quicker response, and less noise and vibration. The best part about the Power Hub is that it has the juice to take you from Intelligent Pedal Assist mode to Full Throttle mode which increases the power from 250W to 1000W, and gives you top speeds of 30+ mph! When in the Intelligent Pedal Assist mode, you can cruise at a comfortable speeds with the option for 6 different levels of pedal assist. To top it off, this bike comes with a Dual Battery offering a ton of power for fast and efficient charging.
The RayVolt Cruzer offers six levels of pedal assist, ranging from no assist to full power. In auto mode, the bike adjusts its assistance to the terrain and conditions of the ride. The bike also has a built-in GPS system which gives the rider access to routes, maps, and travel guides.
The Rayvolt Cruzer uses a rear wheel hub motor. This innovative hub has a brushless, 3-phase, dc motor made from 48 copper coils and magnets that are placed on the perimeter of the motor for the best possible torque.
The built-in controller receives heat and position data from the coils and computes where to put the next load within one millisecond. This accuracy produces a pure sine wave current, offering unmatched ride comfort which translates into better acceleration, better responsiveness, more torque, less noise, and less vibration.
The performance and life expectancy of any electric vehicle is directly linked to the type of cell used. The capacity of the battery pack also depends on the number of cells used.
Rayvolt uses 13 cells in series to reach a nominal voltage of 48V. At peak voltage, a full charge of 54.6V gives a lot of power. They use a minimum of 4 cells in parallel (52 cells in total) or 8 cells in parallel (104 Cells in total).
This gives an unmatched capacity of 550Wh (watt hours) and 1100Wh where most of the industry uses 300 to 360Wh. Using a state-of-the-art battery management system in the packs, each cell is connected to it before delivering the charge. This high-tech design balances the charge between each individual cell and can cut the connection in case of a short circuit. This ensures best possible performance while making the battery safer.
Intelligent Regenerative Brake System
The electronic braking system sends a signal to the motor controller and provokes a reverse effect in the motor. This converts torque into resistance using the wheel inertia to generate electricity and recharge the batteries. It acts like an ultra powerful dynamo.
The intelligent RBS is linked to the built-in gyroscope, allowing the bike to detect the cycling environment. It then provides the necessary amount of regenerative brake according to the angle of the hill. iRBS paired with the cloud-based iTS allows you to remotely lock your rear wheel.
Intelligent Pedal Assist System (IPAS)
The Eiva® is Rayvolt's developed software to control, customize, and monitor your Rayvolt bike. An Eiva® computer can be purchased and secured mounted to the handlebars, ready to go whenever you are. The software can also be downloaded for use on an existing Android or iPhone.
Display 360º monitors speed, battery state, MPH/KM Run & essential bike specs. Bluetooth connection allows you to monitor the connection between the bike and Eiva®.

As soon as you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. The email include details about the order, and is your record that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.
Before we contact the warehouse to confirm that the selected item(s) are in stock and available for immediate shipment, all orders are subject to fraud protection analysis. This protects both ourselves and the customer, by ensuring that credit cards are not being used fraudulently, and no ID theft has occurred. This process can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Upon fraud clearance, the supplier is contacted to fulfill the order.
The time between placing and order and having it shipped can vary from one day to several weeks. Some products are readily available and can ship almost immediately after an order is placed. Some suppliers, on the other hand, build products to order, so upon notification that an order has been received, they will assemble the product and ship it, usually 7-10 days (but sometimes longer).
If a product cannot ship within 48 hours of the order being placed, we will contact the customer to let them know what fulfillment timeframes to expect. If a product is on backorder, estimated shipping times are subject to several variables, including delays at border crossings.
If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you by email or phone, and see if you want to keep the order and wait for the product to come back into stock; cancel the order; and/or change it for a different item or items. If you cancel your order, we will void the pre-authorization and your item(s) are. If available for immediate shipment, we will process the charge and submit the order for shipment.
If your order is in stock and we process the charge to your credit card, it will ship within typically within 24-48 hours from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided at checkout. Please know that some suppliers will take up to a week to fulfill an order, but we work diligently with each one of them to shorten shipping times on every order.

We work diligently with our customers to avoid warranty claims, and will seek to resolve issues amicably. Bicycles and scooters require initial assembly, adjustments and fittings, and regular maintenance thereafter, and none of these requirements are covered by manufacturer warranty. If fact, the inverse is true: failure on the part of the customer to properly maintain their new bike could result in voiding a warranty.
All warranty communication is ultimately between the customer and the manufacturer for genuine issues of workmanship or defect within the warranty period, and the supplier will repair or exchange products AT THEIR DISCRETION.
REALLY GOOD EBIKES AND ITS SUPPLIERS DO NOT TYPICALLY ACCEPT PRODUCT RETURNS DUE TO BUYER REMORSE. THEREFORE, BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT(S) YOU CHOOSE WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS WITHOUT REGRET. If the customer has not opened or used the item, and it can still be sold as new, the item may to be returned to the supplier (upon their prior approval) and Really Goods LLC will refund the customer once the supplier determines the salability of the item, and has processed their own corresponding wholesale refund.
Cancellations & Refunds
All sales are final. At the discretion of Seller, orders cancelled after 24 hours may be subject to a 38% administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. The electric bikes we sell come mostly assembled, and many customers are fine completing the assembly process, which typically involves attaching the front wheel, attaching and adjusting the handlebar, attaching pedals, adjusting the brakes, and checking to make sure all the connections are secure and fit to the riders height and desired riding position.
But for those who what this done for them, we now offer free professional bike assembly with every ebike sold. How does this work? Well, you can contact us and we'll find a local shop to do the assembly for you, or you can simply include your local bike shop as the shipping address when you check out. Make sure to include an "order note" when checking out, so that we can do all the coordination for you.
Some restrictions apply. You will need to live close enough to a local shop where your bike can be assembled for you. The local shop will need to offer assembly services - but this is a very common service, and we have never called a shop that wouldn't do this for around $50. If it costs more than that, you will need to pay the difference. Once the work is completed, just email us a copy of the store receipt, and we'll refund you $50.
