Real People Talking About Ebikes (and E-Boards), Episode #16-Really Good eBikes

In this episode of our ongoing Real People series we talk with our new friend Derrick Craig, a long-time longboarder who just got into electric skateboards. He cruises Santa Barbara all the time, and having a powered board is really helpful to get up the steep hills around town.

Derrick is riding a Liftboard longboard, which is a brand we hope to be carrying in the very near future. As you can see in the video, the board comes with a wireless handheld remote control, which includes a throttle for going forward, and a brake control (regenerative braking).

This board can reach speeds of up to 27 mph (or faster if you're jamming down a steep hill), and with it's built in ergonomic hand hold, it's easy to carry.

So if you're ready to shop, click here to check out some of the amazing e-boards we carry.
