Bafang BBSHD Mid-Drive System

Just what I was looking for...
First off, a huge thanks goes out to Steve from Really Good Ebikes (RGE). Every phone call and every email was answered promptly and clearly. One benefit that may go unnoticed (hopefully one you will never need) is that he will go to bat for you with these ebike companies if something is wrong with your bike. This in my eyes is huge. A lot of these companies are based over seas so there is an obvious language barrier that can become infuriating; especially if your having an issue. There's no need to explain that further... I am sure most people have been there. Now my review for the bike. I am 5'11" 275 lbs and this bike handles like a dream. This bike is my main hunting rig and gets me through some crappy trails and terrain with absolutely no issues. I even towed a 200 lb friend in a trailer without the bike breaking a sweat. The only issue I can think of is the front fender. It's loud and clunky going through the woods and sticks tend to get wedged in between the tire and its underbelly. This is a simple fix... just don't put it on. Testing range: With my weight and the 15.6ah battery, using nothing but throttle. I got 15 miles with 1 yellow bar left on the Dorado battery pack (there's 2 more red bars under that). Around 11 miles were on the road (NJ country roads with moderate hills), the remainder was through the woods down trails and furrows. The bike and I weigh a hefty 350+ lbs together, so I am happy with those results. If you want longer throttle only range, I would definitely recommend the 25ah one.. this will be my next purchase.

Happy Hubby
I purchased this electric bike on the advice of Steve (the owner of RGE) and we couldn't be happier. My husband uses it instead the ATV to ride around our 30-acre property, mending fences and doing other properly management activities. He always comes home with a smile on his face, and he tells me this was a really good 60th birthday present. Thanks again.
