Nakto Santa Monica Description

The Nakto Santa Monica is a classic beach cruiser. It has sweptback handlebars, a relaxed cruiser frame, suspension fork with lockout, cushioned spring saddle, and 3" balloon tires. It's perfect for riding around town, cruising the beach boardwalk, and even for casual trips to the store. First and foremost, the Santa Monica is a really cool bike.

When riding the Santa Monica, you can take advantage of the 6-speed Shimano gears, which shift smoothly throughout their range using the trigger shifter. And when you're ready, the Santa Monica features some powerful electronic components to boost your ride.

First, there is the 5-level Pedal Assist System (PAS) which uses a cadence sensor to detect how much pressure you are putting on the pedals, and adjusts the motor output accordingly.  The 500W (nominal output) rear hub DC brushless motor is powered by a 48V battery, and can really help when you're pedaling uphill. The battery itself is integrated into the downtube, providing security and aerodynamics.

The battery can be charged on or off the bike, and should give the average rider at least 20 miles or more of range per charge. It comes with built-in overcharge protection, and can be charged over 1,000 times before needing replacement.
